Rental terms & conditions

We accept secure on-line payments through PayPal. Visa, Master Card & Discover, American Express, and Bank Debit are accepted. A PayPal account is not required. Standard rental engagements are six hours. Reservations are not guaranteed until retainer is received. A 50% non refundable retainer is required to guarantee reservation of rental and/or services for your event date. If event date is within 6 weeks a 80% non refundable retainer is required to guarantee event date.  Discounted rates, promotions or specials require payment in full to guarantee. 

Rental Period and Pricing Items listed on client invoice are part of this agreement.  Rental period will include time surrounding the event date to adequately stage and strike event.  Per day rental fees don’t apply in all instances. 

All services provided by Trightymite are on a first-come first-served basis and are not guaranteed without a retainer.  We only book one event per date. It is not uncommon that clients will guarantee their date a year or more in advance.

Payment Terms Upon receipt of agreed payment an email confirmation/receipt will be sent as notice that your event date has been secured for rentals and services listed on invoice.

Purchase orders or postdated checks are not accepted. A valid credit card is required to be on file for security deposits. 

Outstanding balances or additional charges or fees must be paid/received ten (10) days prior to event date.  No services will be provided on event date if balance owed has not been paid in full. We make no exceptions.  

Venue Named Additional Insured – Not all venues have this requirement.  Rather than increase our rates to absorb this cost we have chosen to only apply the charge if required by the venue.  The applicable rate will be applied to the final balance due.     Rate is based on the estimated number of guests

1-200 guests.................................. $125.00
201 -350 guests ............................ $175.00
351-500 guests.............................. $210.00

Client provided video - Client will provide a completed video file two (2) days prior to event for testing with rental projection equipment and transferred to appropriate media for use the day of event. 

3rd Party Rentals – Rentals provided by a third party rental such as, but not limited to tables, chairs, and other equipment identified on contract will be delivered at a schedule time and location.   All china, silver, glassware, flatware must be rinsed food free and repackaged in the same containers delivered.   Lessor is responsible for returning items to a single location ready for pickup.

All Visa, MasterCard, American Express & PayPal are accepted.  We do not accept checks of any nature.

Missing & Damaged Equipment The customer is responsible for all equipment during the event.  In the event equipment is damaged due to any neglect any repair work necessary shall be paid by the Lessor. If the unit is damaged beyond repair, the Lessor shall pay full replacement costs.

Centerpiece rentals removed and/or missing at end of event lessor is responsible to pay a replacement cost of 175.00 for each missing centerpiece element. This includes, but not limited to battery lights, lighting elements and table mirrors which are provided by Trightymite.

Delivery/Setup/Teardown
Trightymite Rentals will deliver, setup/stage and teardown only equipment supplied by Trightymite Rentals.

Possession/Title
Decorative & centerpiece elements created by TRIGHTYMITE remain the property of TRIGHTYMITE.  The cost applied is a “rental rate” and not a purchase price unless expressly indicated on invoice “purchase item”.

Liability
Trightymite Rentals shall not be liable for any loss, delay or damage of any kind or character resulting from defects in or inefficiencies of the equipment or accidental breakage thereof.  Lessee shall be solely responsible for and shall indemnify, defend and hold Lessor harmless against all claims, suits, damages or losses, specifically the loss of property, and all other liabilities whatsoever, including related expenses and attorney's fees, for or on account of injuries to or death of any person, including but not limited to the property of the Lessee or Lessor, occasioned by the operation, handling or transportation of the equipment during the rental period or while the equipment is in the possession or control of the Lessee. Notwithstanding the forgoing, Lessee shall have no indemnity obligations whatsoever to the extent any such claims, suits, damages, losses, or other liabilities are caused, directly or indirectly, by the negligence of Lessor.
